The Théâtre Parminou Mission
Théâtre Parminou is a production and touring group whose artistic mission is to develop a popular form of theatre committed to the social problems of its times. Our efforts are based on the beliefs that theatre is a common wealth as, in a greater sense, is culture, and that the act of creating is a time of exchange between the actors and the audiences. Always driven by this democratic ideal, we have for over 35 years continued in our search for common grounds during the process of creation as well as in the presentations.
Essentially a touring theatre, the troupe travels all over Quebec and the other Canadian provinces. Our expertise is recognized in Europe, Africa and Central America. A pioneer and leader in intervention theatre, Theatre Parminou occupies a unique place in Quebec. Through its will to be accessible, it reaches out to people wherever they are: in schools, town halls, cultural centers, organizations and the workplace.
